“Rutledge4VaGov2021 – Even though a dwarf named Will Pace tried to put me in this race. I wanted it to play out without any interference. I have never liked or cared for Denver Riggleman for obvious reasons. However, my concern was making sure the seat stayed Republican and we had decent representation on key issues in D.C. The campaigning was nasty, vile, brutal, and downright ugly on all sides. I call it fair play and battle testing our candidates to kick Democrats out of contention. Bob Good came out the winner and earned his path to victory. An amazing accomplishment against a popular and controversial incumbent. I wish both candidates well going into the future and to work together for the best interest of our Country and not just the Party. Bob Good will be a strong fighter for the 5th District and he has proved it beyond a shadow of a doubt. I urge the 5th District to put petty differences to the side as we are faced with the most important election of our lifetimes. The Party of common sense compared to the Democratic chaos going on Nation wide. Bob Good has my full support and I would have done the same for Riggleman without reservation because the voters choose their leadership and was aware of any and all reasons from both candidates to make the best decision.”
