D.C Chapter President of the National Action Network Pastor Larry Abrigo scams proved in e-mails to victims

E-mails from Pastor Lennox Abrigo from D.C Chapter president of the National Action Network and this is how this type of guy scam citizens in Danville, Va and all over Virginia.  The church below he claims to be a pastor of is him and his wife is his only contact and very unprofessional church website.

Concerns/Complaint against Norfolk Va Police Matthews

I was informed by Donna Lea aka Lee that she had problems with the City of Norfolk, Va Police Department after a somewhat hit and run (from officers prospective). Ms. Lee alleges that after the accident and while in the hospital that she was treated rudely by City of Norfolk, Va Police officers. She was hit by a car in which the driver did not stay until police was around.  After she pleaded, for the man to stay until officers arrived. The man left his license plate number and a business card, but obviously in allege fear of arrest, departed from the scene of the accident. Ms. Lee was left hurt, crying, and pleading for anyone to help assist her because she was injured and in obtaining information on the driver responsible. While she was at the hospital, she was told rudely to get off her phone while talking to her daughter. She had fingers put in her face by Officer Matthews because he refused to file a report, and this was the method of mannerism used to instill that point.

Ms. Lee alleges that she was treated like a criminal instead of a victim. She feels that the Norfolk, Va police department could have done more and refused to do their job and make an arrest for someone fleeing the scene of an accident, while injured parties was clearly present. I am seeking a full re investigation into the actions of Officer Matthews and his superiors. Ms. Lee alleges that Sergeant Kelly was aware of her complaint and told her that there would be a phone call returned to her. In regards, to her allegations against Officer Matthews. There was no phone call returned and no further follow up done in regards to the accident or her complaint against Officer Mathews. She also has complaints against other police officers, including Officer Sterling, that she alleges knowingly mislead her in saying the Virginia license plate did not exist  to anyone particular, and that the Police Department could get no hit on the identification of the driver.  She was also told that she could not get any information on the driver and this is when she knew that the Police Department has critical information towards identifying the driver, for even insurance purposes.  However, the same information was supplied to her by the  insurance company.  The insurance company was not only able to get a hit on the license place, but was also able to identify the driver involved in allege hit and run, and fleeing the scene of a car accident.

Ms. Lee alleges that she did not give permission to the driver to leave and that the business card and virginia license plate left behind by the negligent party, was given to her under duress and that she in no way gave the intention that the driver should leave the scene. Nowadays, it seems like the City of Norfolk, Va Police Department is in serious need of people skills and ways to conduct themselves with victims of an allege crime or accident. I am concern with the direction that the Police Department is going in with handling complaints and taking relevant information in regards to allege crimes that happen with people, that they deem on a personal level, as being not fit for Equal Protection of the law. I am leaving her phone number (757) 401 0661 and expect serious follow up in regards to this officer and his supervisors.
Lastly, She wants an apology for the disrespect and lack of sensitivity and rude mannerisms done by this officer and his colleagues which are mention in this letter. The incident occured this year and I believe on May 24, 2012. I want all accident reports, police records, 911 calls, and documents done by police or depatch in regards to this incident as a Virginia Freedom of Information Act request. I perfer the information e-mailed to me. This whole matter needs to be reinvestigated.including the officers involved. Also, she alleges that Officer Matthews said that the only thing she could do was file a civil suit and gave her a legal conclusion, “that the lawsuit will go nowhere.” When did police officers become lawyers?  She also wants the man arrested on criminal charges for his conduct and actions in regards to the car accident.

A Special Grand Jury needs to be convene: Trayvon Martin deserves justice!

Trayvon Martin, who was unarmed and on his way back from the store after buying some snacks.  I ask that your office have a special grand jury convened to determine if enough evidence exists to charge George Zimmerman with a crime.  This wasnt about Trayvon confronting Zimmerman, but Zimmerman putting his own life supposedly in danger.  He could have simply drove off or continue to follow.  He decided to ignore the police instructions.  At the very least he should be charged with something including obstruction of justice.  Zimmerman also was not watching a felony or crime taken place.  He had no jurisdiction and if police are giving citizens police powers than they should be investigated and held to the same standard as a police officer.  Zimmerman was acting within the color of the law, and the State should be held responsible and accountable.

Witnesses have come forward disputing the police claims.  It should be a outside law enforcement agency including the Florida State Police to take over the investigation as this matter has spiraled out of control.  There exists legitimate issues in dispute in regards to the current law and Zimmerman claims from third parties.  We know a Governor has limited discretion but has a lot of influence on whether a state agency instead of a local agency should be handling this matter.  Self defense is based off the fact that there exist no other alternative and that your life is in danger to take lethal action.  It is a clear distinction between a danger that exists at the time, or a danger that you walked yourself into.  The law at its very least should be amended that if you dont try to avoid confrontation where none exists and that you are a catalyst to escalating an criminal matter than a jury, judge, and prosecutor should decide and not the police department.

Also this is a example of a Judge taken it out of the police and City hand in Virginia in order to restore justice and integrity back to Norfolk.  How about other judges follow by example.

A special grand jury convened for the first time Wednesday to investigate the city’s troubled Community Services Board, with a judge’s instruction to stick to the facts and avoid a “fishing expedition.”

Circuit Court Judge Charles E. Poston instructed the 11-member panel to investigate and report back to the court about any possible wrongdoing within the CSB, including the circumstances that allowed former employee Jill McGlone to be on the payroll for 12 years while she was suspended. The agency paid McGlone $320,000 during that time.

Poston questioned grand jury members Wednesday and determined that they had no conflicts and were qualified to serve.

John O. Simpson, former superintendent of Norfolk Public Schools, was chosen as jury foreman.

Poston ordered the special grand jury in a rare move last month. On Wednesday, he told the panel that it is not limited to investigating McGlone and could look into other potentially criminal activities at the mental health and welfare agency.

But he added: “You should not embark upon inquiry into merely speculative circumstances. In other words, you should not engage in what may be termed a ‘fishing expedition.’ ”

In its investigation, the special grand jury may subpoena documents and witnesses and hear testimony under oath.

Poston stressed that the work will remain secret to protect jurors from outside pressure, encourage witnesses to speak freely, and prevent witness tampering.

“You are an investigative body and do not determine in any way the guilt or innocence of any person,” Poston said.

The grand jury’s investigation has no set deadline but likely will take months to complete. The results will be in a report submitted to the court that may recommend criminal charges for prosecutors to pursue or may exonerate individuals when the panel finds no support for allegations against them, the judge said.

Prosecutors may then present the case to a regular grand jury for indictment. The special grand jury’s report and findings remain sealed unless a judge orders them open, according to state law.

The special grand jury on Wednesday also appointed veteran attorney John R. Fletcher as special counsel to aid in the investigation. Fletcher, a partner in the Norfolk firm Tavss Fletcher, specializes in personal injury and criminal defense. He graduated from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at William and Mary in 1975.
